March 2023 Impact Report

March 3 - Mattenga’s 46 was proud to serve 51 pizzas plus salad for Reagan and Faith’s wedding reception at The Preserve at Canyon Lake. Everything was perfect! The wedding party was thrilled with the pizza and salad choices. We were blessed to make their day a special one.

March 3 - Pizzas for Revolution Church (Schertz), per Adrian, “we had such a crazy and fun weekend. Thank you again for your support and partnership, everyone loved the food! Thank you to all of the team at Mattengas, we know it’s not easy to pull off such a big order and y’all rocked it!”

March 6 - Mattenga's Pizzeria Schertz, March 6, 2023 - We were thrilled to host and donate pizza kits to 25 kids of TrailLife Local Troop for their BYOP night!

These awesome kids got to learn about the different kitchen equipment, spoke with our people, and of course, made their own pizzas!

March 7 - Schertz hosted Project Graduation for Steele HS. The families had a wonderful time and enjoyed their meals.

March 8 - We celebrated National Women’s Day and Mattenga’s and the many women working to make this company a success!

March 9 - Mattenga’s Schertz loved the opportunity to help teach kids about goal setting, working hard, and reaching that goal. We were thrilled to hear how hard the kids worked to achieve even higher than the set goal.

Kudos to the teacher and class of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) for a job worthy of a pizza party. Keep reaching for the stars!

Thank you for the card. We appreciate your thoughtfulness. See you again soon!

March 10 - Matt and Hengam visited Pre K classes at Big Country Elementary for their Career Day. The kids learned how we make our pizzas and the ingredients that we use. They discussed their favorite kind of pizza toppings and how fun it is to work in a pizzeria. The classes were given an activity page to take home and a free 10” card to redeem at our Quiet Plain store.

March 11 - Mattenga’s Schertz donated pizzas to feed 150 people for Kiddie Academy of Cibolo’s Holi Festival of Colors Event at Pickerall Park. Holi is an Indian festival of colors celebrating the triumph of good over evil and a way to welcome in spring and have a fresh start. There was music, dancing and complementary pizza provided by Schertz Mattenga's! Nothing makes us happier than seeing those smiles on kids' faces and knowing they are happy.

March 13 - All Mattenga’s restaurants promoted Pi Day with $3.14 10” cheese pizzas from 3:14pm to 8 pm. You could add additional toppiongs for $1 each. The staff spent days making enough dough and hours shredding cheese and prepping toppings for the big day, not to mention folding all those boxes.

March 16 - Mattenga’s Schertz hosted a BYOP for Children’s Lighthouse for 30 kids. They got to sauce, cheese and top their 10’” pizzas, then enjoy them after our staff baked the pies.

March 20 - Mattenga’s Sea World was pleased to cater a luncheon for BLE United Way Teachers. They enjoyed a meal of pizzas and salad.

March 21 - Mattenga’s Schertz hosted a fundraiser for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School. It was so nice to see the families having a good time.

March 23 - Mattenga’s Sea World donated pizzas to Martin Elementary during their STAAR testing presentation as a surprise for the parents and students.

March was an amazing and busy month for all Mattenga’s locations. We enjoyed hosting the Spirit Nights and surprising a school with Pizza. April should be even better. Give us a call if you want us to help you celebrate a special event.
