At Mattenga’s, we believe in more than just serving great pizza—we believe in serving our community. June was a month filled with celebration, gratitude, and giving back, and we’re thrilled to share some of the moments that made this past month so memorable.

A FoxSA First Bite

We were honored to welcome the FOXSA team to our Medical Center (Callaghan Rd) location, where they got to experience our Brisket Pizza for the very first time.

Crafted with slow-smoked brisket on our signature house-made dough, this pizza is a true labor of love. We were proud to share what we do best—serve food made with care—and grateful for the spotlight they shine on local businesses across San Antonio.

Celebrating 50 Years of Dedication

When Sysco asked us to help celebrate a remarkable 50-year work anniversary for one of their team members, we knew we had to go all out.

From creating a custom “50” pizza to hand-delivering a box of Crumbl cookies, our Schertz team went above and beyond to honor five decades of hard work, loyalty, and excellence.

Moments like these remind us of the power of food to bring people together—and we’re so thankful to have played a small role in such a big celebration.
