At Mattenga’s Pizzeria, we believe giving back to our community is just as important as serving delicious, fresh pizza. This August, we were proud to support a variety of local organizations, schools, and events, bringing people together through the simple joy of pizza. Supporting Our Local Heroes

We kicked off the month by donating pizzas to our local Fire Department, showing our appreciation for the men and women who keep our community safe every day.

Investing in Education

Education remains a cornerstone of our community efforts. We donated pizzas to a NEISD Elementary School and Rolling Meadows Elementary School, providing a tasty treat for students and staff while supporting their ongoing learning initiatives.

Community Events

We were also active in local community events this month. Our team participated in BYOP (Bring Your Own Pizza) at Brighter Futures Learning Center in Schertz and joined the Burn Boot Camp in Stone Oak. Additionally, we hosted a Spirit Night at Garden Ridge Elementary in Schertz, creating an opportunity for families to come together and support their school while enjoying Mattenga’s pizza.

Voucher Donations

In August, we also contributed vouchers to several community organizations, including UTSA Film/Media, Southwest Elementary PTA, Randolph Area Aggie Mothers Club, and Young Life San Antonio Northwest. These vouchers help support fundraising efforts and bring a little extra joy to their events.

A Special Birthday Treat

We love celebrating life’s special moments with our customers. One guest shared their excitement after enjoying their free birthday pizza treat.

Moments like these remind us that pizza is more than just a meal—it’s about creating memories and sharing joy with our community.

At Mattenga’s, giving back is part of who we are. We are grateful to partner with these incredible organizations and look forward to continuing to serve our community, one pizza at a time.
